Platinum-selling artist Rick Ross introduced the rap game to Gunplay with the debut of ‘Rollin’ the addictive anthem to ‘living the good life;’ featuring the high-octane rapper Waka Flocka Flame from the Inglorious Bastard mixtape hosted by DJ Fletch & Off Safety Mixtape Hosted by DJ P-Cutta which featured the Remix to "Rollin" which featured Rick Ross & Waka Flocka.

Gunplay has been rooted in the rap game dating back to when the Carol City natives Ross and Gunplay met in 1997 their passion for music lead to the formation of Carol City Cartel better known as Triple C’s;. The trio worked hard to build a buzz, later releasing their debut album Custom Cars & Cyles in 2009; after being featured on Rick Ross’ first two platinum albums Port of Miami, and Trilla. Gunplay, Torch, & Young Breed have showed their prowess as a group and individually as solo emcees. Gunplay made his solo debut on Rick Ross’ third number one album Deeper Than Rap featured on the track Gunplay.
